Maus-Teppich

Ich habe neulich ein Mauspads mit echt gewebter(!) "Teppich"-Oberfläche geschenkt bekommen. Es gibt davon wohl eine ganze Reihe verschiedener Designs. Meines sieht so aus:

Nochmal: Es geht immer noch "nur" um ein Mouse-Pad. Wenn auch ein besonders schönes mit gewebter Oberfläche.

Unbrauchbare Online-Übersetzungshilfen

Nach einem Hinweis meines Schwiegervaters habe ich mal durch die einschlägigen Online-Übersetzungshilfen - wie z. B. den AltaVista Babel Fish und die Google Sprachtools - den folgenden einfachen, englischen Satz übersetzen lassen:

"Does this sound familiar to you?"

Das nur seeeehr bedingt brauchbare Ergebnis war:

"dieses Tonvertraute zu Ihnen?"

Super! Da kann man ja richtig begeistert sein. - Nein, im Ernst. Da wäre man mit einer manuellen Wort für Wort Übersetzung (z. B. mit dem ebenfalls kostenlosen Online-Wörterbuch von LEO) wohl näher an die tatsächliche Bedeutung gekommen. *grumpf*
